Sarajevo’s old town by tram, the mountains half an hour away
Tram line 3 ends at Baščaršija, among the coppersmiths’ lanes and coffee houses of the Ottoman old town. The springs of the Bosna are a walk away along a 3.5 km avenue of plane trees. Bjelašnica, where the 1984 Olympic downhill was run, is about 30 minutes by car.
