Booking terms and house rules
You accept these terms when you book, and again when you check in. Please read them before you book.
In short
- You pay at reception when you arrive, by card or in cash. Tourist tax is included in the price.
- Cancel free of charge until 5 days before arrival. After that, or if you do not arrive, 30% of the stay is charged.
- We do not refund to a card or in cash. Money due back to you becomes a voucher for your next stay, valid 12 months.
- Damage and heavy mess are charged according to the price list at reception.

Booking terms
Who you book with
Your booking is a contract with M-INVESTMENT GROUP d.o.o. (JIB 4227897830000), Butmirska cesta 16 A i 16 B, 71210 Ilidža, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which runs River Walk Sarajevo.
Price
The price is for the whole apartment for your stay, not per person.
Tourist tax is included in the price.
You may see the price in your own currency. The amount you pay is the one in convertible marks (KM).
Payment
You pay at reception when you arrive, by card or in cash. Nothing is charged online. You get a fiscal receipt for every payment.
Cancellation and no-show
Free cancellation until 5 days before arrival.
If you cancel later, or do not arrive without telling us, the fee is 30% of the price of the stay.
To cancel, use your stay page, write to reception@riverwalkrent.ba or call +387 33 837 337, with your booking reference.
A booking made through Booking.com or another website follows that website’s cancellation terms.
Refunds and vouchers
We do not pay money back to a card or in cash.
When money is due back to you, you receive a voucher for the full amount. It is valid for 12 months for any stay at River Walk, in one stay or several.
If River Walk cannot provide your stay, or where the law requires it, we refund the money instead.
Extra charges
Damage to the apartment or its contents is charged according to River Walk’s price list.
If the apartment is left with stains, heavy mess or a smell of smoke, an extra cleaning charge applies.
A lost key or key card is charged.
Every charge is shown on your bill with its reason and is paid at reception before you leave.
Early check-in, late check-out, a better apartment
On request, when an apartment is free. Reception tells you the price before you agree.
If we cannot provide your apartment
You get one of the same or a higher category at the same price. If that does not suit you, you can cancel free of charge and get your money back.
Complaints and law
Tell reception first, so we can put it right while you are here. You can also write to reception@riverwalkrent.ba or use the complaints book at reception. These terms follow the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
House rules
- Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Reception is open 24 hours.
- Every guest shows a passport or identity card at check-in: the law requires us to register every guest. Only registered guests stay overnight, up to the apartment’s guest limit.
- Rubbish is taken out and the bathroom quickly cleaned every day between 09:00 and 15:00. A full clean and fresh bed linen come every third day.
- No smoking inside the apartments, e-cigarettes included.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please do not open or adjust the heat pump. If the heating or cooling is not right, call reception.
- Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 07:00.
- Any damage to the apartment or its contents is charged according to the price list. Please tell reception straight away.
- Stains, heavy mess or a smell of smoke are charged as extra cleaning.
- River Walk may end the stay of a guest who does not keep to these rules.
